We work proactively with the professional team to ensure high-quality and robust submissions, providing direction at every stage in order to maximise the chances of a successful outcome.
We have extensive experience of advising on appeal strategies, preparing and collating appeal submissions and providing planning expert witness evidence at hearings and inquiries. We have been successful at a number of high-profile appeals, call-in inquiries and can also advise on judicial reviews.
Once your permission is place, we can assist at the delivery stage including compliance with conditions and legal agreements. We can also advise on amendments to conditions to facilitate delivery or in seeking to optimise your consent.

At NWS Planning, we have extensive experience working across a range of sectors and specialisms.
We have a strong track-record working across a wide range of sectors including industrial, retail, leisure, residential (including BTR and co-living), later living and mixed-use developments (including co-location). We have experience working with Clients across the UK and regularly advise on sites within built up urban areas as well as those in more rural locations (including Green Belt).
We can advise on and assist with the preparation and submission of all types of planning application including outline, full or hybrid applications; listed building consents; amendments to existing permissions; and prior approvals.
We have considerable knowledge and experience in preparing bespoke assessments to support development proposals, including town centre use assessments and retail impact statements. We also provide housing need and supply assessments to support delivery of residential schemes in areas where the Council’s ability to show a 5 year land supply is unclear.
We can assist with the preparation and submission of appeals via any route (e.g. written representations, hearing or public inquiry). We have extensive experience of providing Expert Witness services at public inquiries, having acted on a number of high-profile schemes.
